The method of dividing the CNC machining process.

news3.1

In layman's terms, the process route refers to the entire processing route that the entire part needs to go through from the blank to the finished product. The formulation of the process route is an important part of the precision machining process. The main task is to determine the number and process content of the process. Surface processing method, determine the processing sequence of each surface, etc.

The main difference between CNC machining and the process route design of ordinary machine tools is that the former is not the entire process from the blank to the finished product, but only a specific description of the process of several CNC machining processes. In CNC precision machining, CNC machining processes are generally interspersed with parts. In the whole process of processing, it needs to be well connected with other processing technology, which is the place to be paid attention to in the process design.

According to the characteristics of CNC precision machining, the division of CNC machining processes can generally be carried out in the following ways:
1.Take one installation and processing as a process. This method is suitable for parts with less processing content, and can be ready for inspection after processing
2.Divide the process according to the processing content of the same tool. Although the surface to be machined of some precision parts can be completed in one installation, considering that the program is too long, it will be limited by the amount of memory and the continuous working time of the machine tool. For example, a process cannot be completed within a working time period, etc. In addition, the program is too long, which will increase the difficulty of error and retrieval. Therefore, in cnc precision machining, the program should not be too long and the content of each process should not be too much.
3.To process part of the sub-process. For the workpiece that needs to be processed, the processing part can be divided into several parts according to its structural characteristics, such as inner cavity, shape, curved surface or plane, and the processing of each part can be regarded as a process.
4.The process is divided into roughing and finishing. Some precision parts of materials are easily deformed during the processing, and it is necessary to correct the deformation that may occur after roughing. Generally speaking, the process of roughing and finishing must be separated. The arrangement of the sequence should be considered according to the structure and blank of the parts, as well as the needs of positioning, installation and clamping. The sequence arrangement should generally be carried out according to the following principles.
1)The processing of the previous process cannot affect the positioning and clamping of the next process, and the intervening process of the general machine tool should also be considered comprehensively;
2)The inner cavity is processed first and then the outer shape is processed;
3)In the process of processing with the same positioning, clamping method or with the same tool, it is best to process continuously to reduce the number of tool changes for heavy positioning times.
4) At the same time, the arrangement principle of the machining sequence of precision parts should also be followed: rough first, then fine, first master and second, face first, then hole, and benchmark first.
